A Horse is a Horse, of course, of course...

Jaime and I spent Saturday with our friends the Kelly's. We had a wonderful time riding and playing.

Our hosts, Linda and Emily Kelly. Thanks for a great day, ladies! We both had fun. Posted by Picasa

Ready to ride! Posted by Picasa

Yee Haw!! Posted by Picasa

I think this saddle is a little big for me :) Posted by Picasa

Waiting on the helmet. Jaime reminding Linda that she needed one...what a smarty! Posted by Picasa

Something VERY interesting is going on but I have no idea what it was... Posted by Picasa

Jaime did very well, I think...at least she stayed on the horse which is more than I can say for her mommy sometimes :) Posted by Picasa

Okay, so the helmet was a little big :) Posted by Picasa

A perfect day for riding. Posted by Picasa

Jaime and Emily spent a lot of time washing the "My Pretty Ponies" They were very proud of themselves when they were done. Posted by Picasa

Sunday

Sunday morning was spent at Camp Mabry for Muster Day. It was a little disappointing because there were no airplanes or helicopters there. But, as you'll see, there were...yes...horses.

Blowing a few bubbles before heading out to Muster Day at Camp Mabry. Amazing what little it takes to entertain. Posted by Picasa

Looking through the big bubble...no, I didn't photoshop this one :) Posted by Picasa

Got one! Posted by Picasa

Getting her face painted. She insisted on camo, even though there were all kinds of pretty, girlie colors available. Posted by Picasa

So...you're going to put ALL that paint on my face? Posted by Picasa

How do I look?!? Posted by Picasa

Is this going to take much longer? I've got horses to ride! Posted by Picasa

Poor lady, it was tough painting around that juice box :) Posted by Picasa

You sure you know what you're doing? Posted by Picasa

Now, for the black.... Posted by Picasa

Finishing touches... Posted by Picasa

One last drink before showing off her new face. Posted by Picasa

The finished product...Almost lost her in the grass with all that camo. Good thing she had on a pink shirt! :) Posted by Picasa

First ride of the day, a Morgan named Hershey. Posted by Picasa

Hershey was a nice, gentle Morgan. I told Jaime that this is the kind of horses that Grandpa's daddy used to have. Posted by Picasa
