Jaime and Me

Jaime had tubes put in her ears last Friday. Children's Hospital has all sorts of little vehicles for the kids to ride into the surgery room. Jaime managed to ride them all before she even went into the surgery room. She also escaped from "our" room several times. Of course, everyone was taken with her, including the people across the hall who were waiting for their own child to finish surgery.

She came through just fine and was a little crankous Friday and Saturday but is pretty much back to her old self now.

Sometimes I wish I'd gone to med school....who earns $600 for 5 minutes of work besides a doctor?

So...here are some photos from the past week. We went to the Children's Museum on Sunday afternoon but that'll have to be a whole other blog because I took something like 100 pictures :) Not that I'm a proud mommy or anything :)

I'm learning to "dribble" a ball. Sometimes I even bounce it twice now! Look out WNBA! :)

Mommy put a pony tail in my hair because...well...because I asked her to and she pretty much does anything I ask her to do. Gotta love that :) 

Still digging the bounce house. Mommy's learned to tip it upside down BEFORE it rains now.

This is my new bike and the day I rode it all the way around the block for the first time. Mommy only helped me up the big hill a little and it's pretty funny to see her running along behind me. Good humor, though :) 

My new bike is SO cool.  

Science? What's science? I just want to plant these seeds and see what happens. I picked these out all by myself. We're going to grow pumpkins, watermelon, sunflowers, coleus and corn. But...nothing's sprouted yet. Maybe it's because my mommy has a black thumb.
